Our Business Requirement

Senior Accountant

We seek an exceptional Senior Accountant professional who thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial

environment. Functionally reporting to the Financial Controller – METCO Kuwait & administratively to the

location General Manager, the Senior Accountant is responsible for accurate recording of financial

transactions, timely reporting, maintaining records, and compliance with financial regulations, preparing

budget and monthly MIS reports.

Responsibilities:

- Recording of Financial Transactions: Record all day-to-day financial transactions, including

invoices, receipts, payments, Fixed assets, inventory, bank transactions and ensure data is

checked for accuracy, and all related documents are properly filed and documented.

- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and

forecasts to guide the organization's financial activities to support its strategic goals.

- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including

income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial metrics, to provide

a clear picture of the organization's financial performance to management and stakeholders.

- Financial Control and Management: Ensure proper financial controls, accounting principles,

and compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify

trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

- Treasury Management: Manage cash flow to ensure the organization has sufficient liquidity to

meet its operational and financial obligations. Optimize cash flow through effective accounts

receivable and accounts payable management, and timely reporting of cashflow.

- Audit and Compliance: Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with accounting

standards and regulations, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

- Tax declaration: Declaration of VAT and Income Taxes as per the country Laws.

- Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks and report to the Financial Controller

accordingly.

- Banking Expertise: Issuance of LC, Tender Bonds, Performance Bonds, online banking, Bank

• transfers, Banks facilities request.

Skills

Requirements:

- Bachelor of accounting, Finance, or relevant degree.

- Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

- Odoo Experience

- Registered in SOCPA

- Transferable visa

- Bilinguals preferred. Must be able to speak Arabic.

- Strong Skills in Microsoft excel.
