Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a diligent and experienced CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR - Civil to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating structural components of various construction projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conduct thorough inspections of structural components, including foundations, beams, columns, and other structural elements.

• Verify that construction work complies with design plans, specifications, codes, and standards.

• Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports.

• Identify and report any deficiencies or deviations from approved plans.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve issues and ensure project quality.

• Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews.

• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.

• Assist in the development and implementation of inspection procedures and protocols.

• Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections and related documentation.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications or training may be considered.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-rise building structural inspection or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, construction methods, and industry standards.

• Proficiency in inspection tools and software.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.

• Certification as a Structural Inspector (e.g., ICC Structural Inspector) is preferred.
