Core Banking Techno functional Engineer

As a Core Banking Techno-Functional Engineer at TAWANTECH, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our Core Banking systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the systems are performing optimally while aligning with business needs and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve both technical and functional perspectives, bridging the gap between IT and business stakeholders.

• Serve as the Application Owner, guaranteeing the operational integrity of Core Banking solutions.
• Integrate Core Banking with other enterprise systems such as CRM and ERP to create seamless business processes.
• Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate production releases for software enhancements.
• Collaborate with vendors and regulatory teams to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Provide techno-functional support and troubleshooting to maximize system efficiency.
• Engage in system audits, create documentation, and conduct control reviews to maintain high standards.

Experience:

• At least 10 years of experience working in IT for Banking, showcasing a solid background in Core Banking systems.

Technical Expertise:

• Profound understanding of Core Banking Platforms such as Temenos, Oracle Flexcube, and Finacle.
• Extensive knowledge of core banking modules including:
• Deposits
• Loans
• Treasury Management
• Payment Processing
• General Ledger
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the banking sector.
• Understanding of middleware and integration technologies like Stitch or comparable solutions.
