Job Description - CSSD Technician

Role Summary:

CSSD Technician responsible for sterilization, decontamination, and distribution of medical instruments ensuring strict adherence to infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform cleaning, sterilization, and packing of surgical instruments
Operate autoclaves and sterilization equipment
Maintain sterilization records and logs
Ensure compliance with hospital infection control policies
Inspect instruments for functionality and cleanliness

Required Skills:

Knowledge of CSSD procedures
Autoclave handling
Infection control standards
Instrument identification
Documentation accuracy

Preferred Skills:

Prometric certification
Saudi Council license
Experience in hospital setup

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience as CSSD Technician

Education:

Diploma in CSSD Technician
