Data Management Specialist- Riyadh, KSA

Support the implementation and day-to-day operation of enterprise Data Management and Data Governance initiatives, ensuring high standards of data quality, metadata accuracy, governance compliance, and the continuous improvement of organizational data assets. The role works closely with business stakeholders, data owners, and technical teams to promote effective data governance practices and support enterprise-wide data management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and ongoing operation of the organization's Data Governance framework, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Execute Data Quality assessments, profiling, monitoring, and issue remediation activities.
• Monitor and report on Data Quality KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain and enhance the Business Glossary, ensuring consistent business terminology across the organization.
• Manage and maintain the Metadata Repository to ensure accurate and up-to-date business and technical metadata.
• Support the administration and maintenance of the enterprise Data Catalog.
• Perform Data Classification activities in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Document and maintain Data Lineage to provide end-to-end visibility of data movement and transformation.
• Support Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives to improve data consistency and integrity across critical business domains.
• Assist with data profiling, cleansing, validation, and remediation to improve overall data quality.
• Monitor compliance with Data Governance policies, standards, and regulatory requirements, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Prepare governance reports, dashboards, and KPI summaries to support management decision-making.
• Support internal and external audits by providing governance documentation and evidence of compliance.
• Collaborate with business data owners, data stewards, and technical teams to resolve data-related issues and promote governance best practices.
• Maintain governance documentation, including policies, procedures, standards, data definitions, meeting records, and action logs, ensuring they remain accurate and up to date..
