Education and Licensing: She holds abachelor’s degree in nursing and is licensed to practicethe profession. Additional training or experience in dermatologymay be needed.

Medical Knowledge: A deepunderstanding of skin diseases and their usual treatments andmedical procedures. She should be familiar with common skinproblems and how to care for them.

Practicalskills: The ability to provide direct care to patients sufferingfrom various skin problems, and implement treatment plans incooperation with doctors and the health careteam.

Personal skills: good communication skillswith patients and the ability to explain procedures and treatmentsto them in an understandable manner, a high sense of detail andaccuracy in documenting and evaluating patients’cases.
