Design Consultant

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Design Consultant to join our team and support clients through every stage of the furniture planning and design process. You will be responsible for translating client needs into functional, aesthetically pleasing, and cost-effective design solutions. From initial consultation to final implementation, you will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure client satisfaction and project success.

•    Meet with clients to understand their vision, space requirements, and design preferences

    •    Create design concepts, layouts, and furniture plans using CAD or design software

    •    Provide professional recommendations based on research, trends, and best practices

    •    Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and installers to deliver complete solutions

    •    Develop mood boards, presentations, and visual materials to support client decisions

    •    Ensure that designs align with budget, timelines, and functional requirements

    •    Oversee or support the implementation and installation process as needed

    •    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, finishes, and industry trends

 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field

    •    Proven experience in space planning, commercial furniture, or interior design

    •    Strong design skills with proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools

    •    Excellent communication and presentation abilities

    •    Ability to balance creativity with functionality and budget constraints

    •    Detail-oriented, client-focused, and a strong team player

    •    Knowledge of furniture systems and workplace design trends is a plus
