Job Description - Digital Marketing Lead

Description

AlUla Club is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Digital Marketing Lead to spearhead our digital marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that elevate our brand, engage our community, and drive ticket sales and merchandise revenue. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, analytics, and customer engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Digital Platforms Management
    • Manage the planning, development, and ongoing improvement of the AlUla SC mobile application and official website.
    • Oversee content management, functional updates, technical enhancements, and overall platform performance.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external technology partners to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of digital products.
    • Monitor digital performance using analytics tools and implement improvements based on data insights.
  • Digital Strategy & Transformation
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with the club’s vision and business objectives.
    • Lead the club’s digital transformation initiatives, including modernization of digital systems, CRM adoption, automation, and technology integration.
    • Identify opportunities for digital innovation to enhance the fan experience and operational efficiency.
  • Content & Digital Fan Engagement
    • Ensure digital platforms are consistently updated with accurate, relevant, and engaging content in collaboration with the media and marketing teams.
    • Manage in-app and website content workflows, push notifications, and digital communication campaigns.
    • Support and optimize digital revenue streams such as ticketing, memberships, merchandise, and sponsorship activations.
  • Data Analysis & Performance Reporting
    • Establish KPIs for all digital channels and monitor performance regularly.
    • Prepare reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to leadership.
    • Drive data‑based decisions to enhance user engagement and platform effectiveness.
  • Vendor & Technology Management
    • Manage relationships with external agencies, software vendors, developers, and hosting providers.
    • Oversee technical QA, issue resolution, release planning, and digital security requirements.
    • Ensure all solutions align with IT standards, digital governance, and the club’s long-term digital roadmap.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Digital Media, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of leading successful campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, techniques, and best practices, including SEO, SEM, and social media marketing.
  • Experience within the sports, entertainment, media, or technology sectors is preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing mobile applications, websites, and digital ecosystems.
  • Proficient in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and project coordination.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to propose innovative solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience in the sports or entertainment industry is a plus.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong understanding of digital product lifecycle management, UX/UI principles, CMS platforms, and analytics tools such as GA4 and Firebase.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and external vendors.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
