Director - Health & Safety - Residential BU (RES7)

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a proactive and experienced Director of Health & Safety to oversee and enhance our health and safety initiatives within the Residential Business Unit at Qiddiya. This pivotal role will require you to establish, implement, and manage health and safety policies, ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of safety across all residential projects.

Your leadership will be crucial in creating a safe working environment that prioritizes the well-being of all team members, contractors, and residents. In this strategic role, you will work closely with project teams to integrate safety practices into everyday operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety strategies and policies for the residential division.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and safety audits, identifying hazards and ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place.
• Lead incident investigations to analyze root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Provide training and resources to employees and contractors to promote safety awareness and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers to incorporate health and safety measures into project planning, execution, and completion.
• Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
• Engage with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders to ensure compliance and alignment with national and international health and safety standards.
• Promote a culture of safety throughout the organization, encouraging proactive safety behaviors among all employees.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, new regulations, and best practices in health and safety to continuously improve the company's health and safety framework.

• Saudi citizen
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience in health and safety management, particularly in large-scale residential or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, best practices, and risk management principles.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective health and safety programs.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence individuals at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and problem-solving.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
