Director - Interior Design - Residential (RES7)

Qiddiya Investment Company is currently seeking a highly experienced Director of Interior Design to lead our residential projects. This key leadership role will be responsible for shaping the vision and execution of innovative interior solutions that elevate the living experience in our residential developments.

As the Director of Interior Design, you will oversee a talented team of designers, guiding them in the delivery of high-caliber interiors that reflect our commitment to quality, luxury, and sustainability. Your strategic oversight and creative direction will be critical in ensuring that each project successfully aligns with Qiddiya’s overall mission and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership in the conceptualization and development of interior design for residential projects.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to define design strategy and objectives.
• Lead the design team in creating compelling design proposals and presentations that communicate the project vision effectively.
• Ensure compliance with current design standards, codes, and best practices in residential design.
• Manage and mentor design staff, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Oversee project budgets and timelines, ensuring efficient resource management and adherence to deadlines.
• Conduct regular project reviews, providing feedback and adjustments as necessary for continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of design trends, materials, and innovations to drive creativity and sustainability in residential projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in interior design, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity focusing on residential projects.
• Proven track record of delivering successful residential projects and strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Extensive knowledge of interior design principles, trends, and best practices.
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills with the ability to inspire and direct a team.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, able to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong understanding of sustainable design practices and building regulations is highly desirable.
