Draftsman & Documentation Technician

o Prepare and update technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams for plant equipment and systems using CAD software.

 o Maintain and organize the Maintenance Department’s technical documentation, drawings, and equipment manuals.

 o Update equipment documentation, spare parts catalogs, and bills of materials to reflect field modifications. 

o Support the Methods team in developing and maintaining maintenance procedures, work instructions, and job plans.

 o Assist in preparing documentation for equipment inspections, condition monitoring, and reliability studies. 

o Maintain accurate records of as-built drawings and update them following maintenance or modification work. 

o Coordinate with Mechanical Planners, Inspectors, and Engineers to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness. 

o Support the digitization and archiving of legacy drawings and technical documents. 

o Ensure compliance with document control standards and maintain version control of technical documents. 

o Prepare fabrication drawings and workshop manufacturing drawings for maintenance and plant modification activities.

 o Develop detailed mechanical drawings for reverse engineering of obsolete spare parts. 

o Support improvement projects by preparing and updating engineering drawings and layouts. 

o Perform site measurements and convert them into detailed engineering drawings

. o Support shutdown planning activities through preparation of required drawings and technical sketches.

 o Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Education: Minimum Education Required

•   Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 

• 3 to 5 years of experience in technical drafting/documentation, preferably in an industrial or cement plant environment. 


• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.


•  Proficiency in Document Control & Technical Documentation.


•  Proficiency in Fabrication Drawing & Workshop Support.
