Electrical Supervisor

Title: Electrical Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of electricians and electrical technicians on construction or maintenance projects.
  

• Review electrical plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure correct execution.
  

• Ensure timely installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues to avoid project delays.
  

• Conduct regular inspections and ensure quality and safety standards are maintained always.
  

• Maintain proper documentation of work progress, materials, and incidents.
  

• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate electrical tasks.
  

• Monitor inventory of electrical tools and materials; raise requisitions as needed.
  

• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, health & safety regulations, and company policies.
  

• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and technicians.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  

• Valid Electrical Supervisor License (if required by local regulations).
  

• Certification in electrical safety practices is an added advantage.
  

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and installation techniques.
  

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
  

• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  

• Familiarity with HSE standards and risk assessments.
  

• Effective communication skills in English (and local language, if applicable).
  

• Proficiency in using MS Office and project tracking software is a plus.
