Job Title: Elevator Technician

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Elevator Technician to perform the operation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic and mechanical elevators, including all associated accessories, devices, and electronic control circuits. The role involves hands-on service and diagnostics to ensure the smooth and safe functioning of elevator systems across various commercial or residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspection, servicing, and lubrication of elevator systems (hydraulic & mechanical).
  

• Troubleshoot and repair elevator malfunctions, including mechanical failures, circuit issues, and control panel faults.
  

• Install, test, and commission elevator components, ensuring alignment with safety and operational standards.
  

• Maintain and repair elevator doors, cables, motors, switches, sensors, and electronic control boards.
  

• Ensure compliance with local and international elevator safety codes and regulations.
  

• Calibrate and adjust electronic and mechanical components for optimal operation.
  

• Maintain clear documentation of maintenance logs, fault reports, and part replacements.
  

• Assist in modernization and upgradation projects involving control systems or elevator models.
  

• Respond promptly to emergency service calls and perform rescue operations if needed.
  

• Collaborate with building management, safety teams, and other technical staff to ensure minimal downtime.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Technical Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.
  

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in elevator maintenance, especially with hydraulic and mechanical systems.
  

• Valid overseas work experience is highly preferred.
  

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of elevator systems, electronics, and safety protocols.
  

• Expertise in reading technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and electrical layouts.
  

• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software for control board troubleshooting.
  

• Good physical stamina and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.
  

• Problem-solving attitude with a focus on preventive maintenance.
  

• Basic communication skills in English (Arabic language proficiency is a plus).
