Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and review electrical systems, power distribution networks, control panels, and switchgear for new installations or upgrades.


• Supervise installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical equipment and systems.


• Monitor and maintain electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.


• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for electrical failures or breakdowns.


• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC, local codes).


• Review and interpret electrical schematics, single line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.


• Work with PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems (as required).


• Coordinate with other departments (mechanical, instrumentation, production) for cross-functional support.


• Conduct energy audits and recommend energy-saving improvements.


• Maintain documentation, including maintenance logs, test reports, and compliance records.


• Support CAPEX projects with technical inputs and vendor coordination.


• Implement and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for electrical systems.


• Stay updated with the latest technologies, standards, and tools in the electrical domain.
