Environmental Manager (ENT657)

Qiddiya Investment Company is on the lookout for a dedicated Environmental Manager to join our team and lead our environmental initiatives across various projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of environmental compliance, sustainability practices, and impact assessments, ensuring that our operations align with both local and global environmental standards.

Your role will be vital in promoting a strategic approach to environmental management and sustainability, facilitating collaboration among different teams while driving initiatives that protect our natural resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental management plans to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and corporate sustainability goals.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and audits to monitor the environmental performance of projects.
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and execution.
• Review and analyze new regulations and industry standards, providing guidance on their implications for the company.
• Lead training and awareness programs for employees regarding environmental practices and responsibilities.
• Prepare regular reports on environmental performance and compliance for internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage in outreach efforts with local communities, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to promote environmental awareness.
• Stay updated on emerging environmental topics, technologies, and sustainability trends to drive continual improvement within the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
• At least 6-9 years of relevant experience in environmental management or related roles, with a focus on project execution.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance requirements, and sustainability best practices.
• Proven experience with environmental impact assessments and management plans.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
• Excellent communication and people skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities, capable of driving projects and initiatives.
• Proficient in environmental management software and reporting tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
