Job Description - Event Manager

Tajalla is a reputable event management company known for creating exceptional and memorable events. We are currently seeking an experienced Event Manager to join our energetic team. As an Event Manager at Tajalla, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events, from corporate conferences and trade shows to weddings and social gatherings. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously will be crucial in delivering successful and seamless events that exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, requirements, and budget.
Create detailed event proposals, including budget analysis, timelines, and logistical plans.
Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution, such as venue selection, vendor management, contract negotiation, timeline management, and onsite coordination.
Manage event budgets and ensure financial objectives are met.
Source and manage vendors, including caterers, decorators, entertainers, and audio-visual technicians.
Oversee event setup and teardown, ensuring that all elements are executed flawlessly.
Handle any last-minute changes or issues that may arise during the event.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
Manage event staff and volunteers, providing clear instructions and guidance.
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful events.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Knowledge of event planning and logistics.
Proficiency in event management software and tools.
Ability to manage budgets and financial targets.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for events.
