Job Description - Executive Director- Center of Excellence CDU520004006

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable professional to take on the role of Executive Director - Center of Excellence. In this strategic position, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of best practices, knowledge sharing, and innovation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Your leadership will foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, ensuring that Qiddiya remains at the forefront of industry standards and practices. You will work closely with various departments to identify opportunities for enhancement and facilitate the integration of innovative solutions that drive performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Center of Excellence, aligning with Qiddiya’s overall objectives.
  • Lead initiatives to establish best practices, performance benchmarks, and operational frameworks across departments.
  • Implement training and development programs to build competency and capabilities among staff.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration between departments to promote innovation and operational excellence.
  • Responsible for tracking performance metrics and reporting on progress towards excellence initiatives.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging trends, technologies, and best practices relevant to the operating environment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external experts, industry organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular assessments of current practices and recommend improvements.
  • Develop strategic reports on Center of Excellence activities for senior management and the board.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in operations, management consultancy, or related areas.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful operational excellence frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performance teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within a large organization.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends, particularly in leisure, entertainment, or tourism sectors.
