Executive Director - Development - Entertainment

Join Qiddiya Investment Company as the Executive Director - Development - Entertainment, where you will play a key role in leading the development of groundbreaking entertainment projects within our visionary entertainment city. This position demands a strategic thinker with a background in either Retail, Mixed-Use, Entertainment or Hospitality, capable of transforming bold ideas into reality.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire development lifecycle of Gaming and eSports assets, from conception and design to execution, ensuring that they align with Qiddiya's mission to become a global hub for entertainment and leisure.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the strategic planning and development of Gaming and eSports projects, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's overall vision, objectives, and market positioning.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams to execute the development of diverse Gaming and eSports offerings including theme parks, live entertainment venues, and attractions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and market analysis to inform project decisions and validate the financial viability of initiatives.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, and contractors to conceptualize and realize innovative entertainment experiences.
• Effectively engage and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, government authorities, and industry partners.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control processes to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
• Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management on project progress, challenges, and milestones achieved.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence in project execution.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive practices to enhance Qiddiya's market position in entertainment.

• Bachelor's degree in Entertainment Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in entertainment development, with extensive experience in leading large-scale projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing the full lifecycle of entertainment development initiatives.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, funding, and financial analysis.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Deep understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices in entertainment development.
• Proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
