We are seeking an experienced Facade Coordinator – Civil Engineer to join our Construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating facade works from design development through construction, ensuring that architectural, structural, MEP, and facade requirements are properly integrated and executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all facade-related activities between design consultants, architects, structural engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and site construction teams.
• Review and coordinate facade shop drawings, architectural drawings, structural details, material specifications, and technical submittals.
• Ensure proper integration of facade systems with structural elements, MEP services, waterproofing, and architectural finishes.
• Review and resolve design and construction interface issues, discrepancies, and clashes.
• Coordinate the preparation, submission, review, and approval of shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and RFIs.
• Monitor facade installation activities on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with facade subcontractors and suppliers regarding materials, fabrication, delivery, installation, and technical issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate corrective actions for identified non-conformities.
• Ensure facade works are executed in accordance with approved method statements, ITPs, quality requirements, and HSE procedures.
• Coordinate mock-ups, sample approvals, testing, inspections, and performance testing of facade systems.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate facade activities with the overall construction schedule.
• Identify potential delays, technical constraints, and interface issues and escalate them to the Project Management team.
• Participate in coordination meetings with consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Assist in resolving technical queries and provide practical engineering solutions to site-related facade issues.
• Review material quantities and assist with material procurement and delivery coordination.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, technical submissions, inspections, approvals, and site instructions.
• Support the preparation of as-built drawings and project close-out documentation.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in facade coordination, facade construction, or building construction.
• Proven experience with facade systems, curtain walls, glazing, cladding, aluminium systems, stone, GRC/GFRC, and waterproofing interfaces.
• Experience working with main contractors, facade subcontractors, consultants, or construction companies is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM and Navisworks is an advantage.
• Good understanding of construction methodologies, quality requirements, and facade installation practices.
• Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
