Faculty Member In Occupational Therapy

The Occupational Therapy Program at BMC Medical College is seeking a dedicated and qualified Faculty Member to join our academic team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of future occupational therapists through teaching, clinical supervision, research, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver academic, research, and clinical activities, including instructional materials and research supervision.
  

• Demonstrate preparedness and expertise in both theoretical and practical teaching components.
  

• Support hands-on learning during practical training and clinical placements.
  

• Exhibit professionalism, including full attendance, ethical conduct, and adherence to clinical dress code.
  

• Maintain a positive, responsive, and supportive relationship with students.
  

• Facilitate individual and group learning activities effectively.
  

• Take initiative in course coordination and participate in curriculum development.
  

• Assist with exam-related tasks, such as question creation, practical station setup, and grading.
  

• Participate in community service activities within and beyond the university.
  

• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to additional departmental tasks as needed.
  

Requirements

• A Master/ PhD of Science in Occupational Therapy from a repeatable university.
  

• +3 years experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably teaching experience
