Finance Manager - KSA National

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Finance Manager to join our Business Operations Team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in ensuring the financial health, regulatory compliance, and operational sustainability of our work in the region.

This is a strategic finance role that requires not only strong accounting and tax expertise — particularly within the KSA regulatory context — but also the ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Reporting

• Prepare and review accurate financial reports including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.


• Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic decisions.


• Monitor financial performance against forecasts and proactively flag risks and opportunities.

Accounting & Compliance

• Oversee core accounting processes including general ledger management, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly reconciliations.


• Ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabian tax and financial regulations, including GAZT, Zakat, and VAT.


• Support and lead on statutory audit processes and liaise with external auditors.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Develop and manage project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and scenario planning in collaboration with regional and UK-based teams.


• Provide financial planning support for bids, contracts, and business development initiatives.

Taxation

• Lead the preparation and submission of VAT returns, Zakat filings, and other local tax obligations.


• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving tax laws and ensure timely compliance.

Systems & Efficiency

• Recommend and implement improvements to financial systems, controls, and processes.


• Ensure accuracy, transparency, and consistency in all financial operations.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the regional leadership team and contribute financial insights to cross-functional discussions.


• Support junior team members and share best practices with colleagues internationally.

Key Requirements

Education & Credentials

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).


• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA strongly preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in finance or accounting, with a strong track record in the KSA context.


• Demonstrated experience managing Zakat, VAT, and other Saudi tax filings.


• Experience in the cultural, consultancy, or non-profit sectors is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in financial tools such as Xero, Google Sheets, and dashboard platforms like Tableau.


• Strong understanding of KSA regulatory frameworks and financial standards.

Languages

• Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
