The main purpose of the role is reporting directly to the Financial Controller MENA as the Finance Manager for our client Saudi Arabia office located in Khobar, Dammam. The role will require assisting the FC MENA with financial and management reporting and working on various short term finance projects. The role will be responsible in managing all local finance related workload and supporting the financial controller in other tasks related to the wider Middle East and Africa region. A key aspect of this role will be to support the set-up of financial processes and procedures for the new Saudi Arabia legal entity. The role will be responsible for all internal and external reporting for the entity, ensuring local regulatory and legal requirements are adhered to as well as working to US GAAP guidelines for internal reporting. Initial project will include the transition of KSA transactional workload (AP, AR, Intercompany, GL and expense process) to UK CFS (shared services). As part of this the role will require to develop, document and implement local policies and procedures for the Finance function. Once complete to act as a liaison between Europe and Middle East on shared service matters. Responsibilities Manage all local transactional finance workload to include:
Monthly financial reporting in SAP and HFM submissions. Uploading monthly payroll. Monitor, analyse and manage fixed assets ensuring compliance and adherence to accounting standards (US GAAP and local Saudi GAAP. Cash flow management. Periodic reporting. Managing petty cash. Processing local payment. Reporting Ensuring timely submissions of local tax, financial statements and any other local requirements. Job Skills
Accounting/Business related or equivalent Bachelors degree. Fluently in English and Arabic. Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of other Microsoft programs. Working knowledge of SAP system. 5 years experience in a similar position or audit background preferable. Must have local Saudi work experience. Strong analytical ability. Strong attention to detail. Produce high quality information in tight deadlines. Ability to develop working relationships with both finance and non-finance personnel. Structured work approach. Ability to work independently without direct supervision. Effective oral and written communication skills. Financial management and processing experience. Consolidation of inter-company accounts. Statutory accounting standards.
