Position Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Fire Protection Engineer (Fire Chief) to lead and manage all aspects of fire protection and emergency response operations within a large-scale industrial setting, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical sectors . The Fire Protection Engineer (Fire Chief) will be responsible for developing and enforcing fire safety policies, managing firefighting teams, conducting training programs, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining firefighting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and administrate all fire protection and firefighting services across the organization.
Develop, implement, and regularly review firefighting systems, goals, and procedures aligned with national and international standards.
Manage emergency response operations including fire, toxic gas, rescue incidents, and hazardous material incidents.
Plan and supervise fire prevention programs, emergency drills, and training for staff and emergency response teams.
Ensure technical specifications and maintenance standards for firefighting equipment and vehicles.
Evaluate fire risks in plant layout designs and recommend optimal fire protection systems.
Maintain compliance with local fire and safety regulations and coordinate with regulatory bodies.
Lead fire incident investigations and generate post-incident reports.
Monitor and manage firefighting budgets and maintain high morale among firefighting personnel.
Stay updated with advancements in firefighting science and technology.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Instrument Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related discipline (Required).
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in Fire Fighting within the Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical industry (Required).
Strong command of written and spoken English.
Physically fit and capable of leading field operations under pressure.
Demonstrated knowledge in crisis management, fire risk assessment, incident prevention, and behavior-based safety.
Proven leadership, decision-making, and emergency command skills.
Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
