1. To ensure that all the field activities are carried out in a safe manner & as per the Work Instructions.


2. To monitor all the Field Equipment’s & Field Parameters closely with the help of Field-Operators and incase of any abnormality or deviation, it is to be promptly reported to the Control Room Foreman or Shift Supervisor so that corrective action is taken in time.


3. To monitor the smooth functioning of RO units/Water complex.


4. To ensure that safe working conditions are prevailing during the course of any maintenance activity in the field.


5. To supervise the activities of Field Operators & to ensure that field parameters are being logged by Field Operators as per the pre-determined time intervals.


6. To ensure that no jobs are carried out without a valid work permit.


7. To log the various events that had happened in his shift in Field Foreman log book.


8. To ensure the Safety of people working in the field, safety of co-workers & safety of various plant equipment’s.  


9. To ensure that plant is kept neat & tidy by proper housekeeping.


10. To train & educate the subordinate staff.


11. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.


12. To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.


13. To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.


14. To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.


15. To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.


16. To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.


17. To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.


18. To attend safety trainings planned for them.
