General Manager - Dammam

A reputable manufacturingcompany in Dammam isseeking an experienced General Manager (GM) to succeed the founder and current GM . In addition to managing the day-to-day operations, the candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills to steer the company through an exciting and upcoming cycle of change and growth.

Looking for a GM to foster company culture, strengthen corporate governance practices, and establish a great working relationship with the board of directors.

Responsibilities:

• Provide inspired leadership company-wide.
• Steer the company through organizational restructuring and change ofmanagement.
• Make high-level decisions about policy and strategy, to advance the business and increase profits.
• Report to the board of directors and keep them informed.
• Develop and implement operational policies.
• Develop high quality business strategies and plans, ensuring their. alignment with short- and long-term objectives.
• Act as the primary spokesperson for the company.
• Develop the companys culture and overall company vision.
• Recruiting new staff members when necessary.
• Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale.
• Oversee the companys fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
• Work with senior stakeholders, finance manager, operations manager, and other executives.
• Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
• Work with the board to develop a 3-year vision and strategic plan.
• Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
• Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Division or business unit.
• Ensure that the operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
• Align their goals with the vision of the board.
• Provides great leadership and guidance to the teams.
• Foster a culture of innovation and change within the company.

Requirements :

• Bachelors degree or masters degree in Engeneering, Business or a relevant discipline or MBA.
• Experience as a GM or in a senior management position, preferably at a manufacturing or construction-based company.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance is mandatory.
• Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision.
• Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance etc.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
• Strong understanding of human resources and personnel management in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of the industry the company operates in.
