Job Summary

The Senior Auditor role exists to provide significantexperience to the audit team in the course of conducting auditsconsultations followup activities and other backoffice supportefforts. The significant experience is demonstrated either in thetechnical (e.g. finance IT operations business) areas priorauditrelated experience/certification or both.

This role is a key audit staff member who provides depthof experience to the competencies needed to perform the audit. IAneeds staff who know how to audit and what to audit to meet auditstandards of having competent resources conductingaudits.

Staff in this role act moreindependently than other staff due to their work process/businessor audit experience. While oversight is still necessary relying onexperienced auditors to complete their assignments allows theremaining members of the audit team to conduct their work anddevelop at the same time.

Pursuing anauditrelevant certification (CIA CISA CPA CMA etc.).

Deep theoretical and applied knowledge of IIA StandardsIIA Code of Ethics Definition of Internal Auditing and CorePrinciples.

Internal QAIP is based on ongoingmonitoring including supervision of IA engagements. The purpose ofsupervision is to ensure audit objectives are achieved quality isassured and staff is developed.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Asassigned will participate on audits projects consultations andinitiatives and perform their work in accordance with the IAprocess and methodology.
• Continuously assessrisks (during an audit engagement) and discuss audit findings withaudit partners/management.
• Assists auditjurisdiction owners (Sr. Managers / Principal Auditors with auditprogram ownership responsibilities) in the course of theirresponsibility to research develop and implement audit methodologyapproaches (risk assessments and audit programs) for assigned auditareas.
• Stays informed and aware of changes tothe internal control environment especially in the workprocess/business areas of their defined expertise.
• This role can include coaching newer staff or staff stilllearning the work process/business activities as part of theirdevelopment.
• Due to their experience this rolecan occasionally be assigned to act as a Team Lead (a PrincipalAuditor role) for smaller contained audits as part of this personscareer development.
• Adheres to theprofessional audit standards in the conduct of their work andadopts best practices in its activities.
• Toassist the Expertise Center in the course of their work such asidentifying themes conducting followup work on audit findingscollecting data for the annual audit plan engagements with theGovernment Audit Bureau etc.
• Provide effectiveand efficient methods by constantly benchmarking against bestpractices technology and updated IA standards.
• Assist in managing the Internal Audit ContinuousProfessional Development programs for the IA staffcompetencies.

Requirements:

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Riyadh SaudiArabia.
• Finance/AccountingAdministration Engineering bachelors degree (Minimum).
• Professional audit relevant certification (e.g. CIA CISASOCPA CPA) is preferred.
• Over 5 years ofexperience in large/global business and/or functional areas ispreferred.
• Prior experience ininternal/external audit is desired.
• Auditrelated certifications are desired.
• Proficiency in governance risk management and internalcontrol systems as well as IIA Standards is desired.
