Job Summary

A leading medical group in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Hazmat Officer to support hazardous materials safety, handling, storage, and emergency response activities. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in hazardous materials management and preferably prior GCC experience.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Manage and monitor the safe handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of hazardous materials.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and applicable HSE requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Identify hazardous materials and assess associated risks.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain proper documentation, safety records, and hazardous material inventories.

  
  


• 
  

  Support emergency response procedures involving chemical and hazardous material incidents.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure appropriate use and availability of PPE and emergency response equipment.

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate with relevant teams during hazardous material incidents and emergency situations.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct safety awareness and handling procedures for employees where required.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a safe working environment and report safety violations or incidents.

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Relevant Diploma / Degree or professional qualification in Hazmat Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Safety, Emergency Response, or a related field.

  
  


• 
  

  Relevant experience as a Hazmat Officer / Hazardous Materials Specialist.

  
  


• 
  

  GCC experience preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of hazardous material handling and safety procedures.

  
  


• 
  

  Good communication, reporting, and emergency response skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work effectively in a healthcare/medical environment.
