Head of Accountant

• Job Description: Leads the Accounting Team, ensuring Accurate and Timely Financial Reporting for the Group and Subsidiaries.
• Responsibilities:
• Oversees all Accounting Functions, including Accounts Payable, Receivable, Payroll, and Fixed assets.
• Manages the Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers, and Accounting Systems.
• Manage any change from one Accounting System to the other (and Manages the Parallel Run).
• Reviews the Monthly Accounts Produced by Subsidiaries.
• Prepares The Monthly Reports (showing Actual Vs. Budget, Analysis, Ratios, and Commentary), Financial Statements, and Consolidation Reports for the Group.
• Liaises with External Auditors during Audits.
• Develops and implements Accounting Policies and Procedures.
• Provides guidance and support to Senior Accountant and to the Finance Team in the subsidiaries and Manages the Performance of the Entire Accounting Team (including interns).
• Manages the annual budgeting process for the group and subsidiaries (in collaboration with Project Cost Controllers).
• Authorities: Approves accounting Policies and Procedures, Manages and Trains the Accounting Team, and Oversees the Accuracy and Timeliness of Financial Reporting.
