• Design the E-commerce transformation journey and superlative growth path.
• Identify and tap the new and emerging channels of future, to generate profitable business through them.
• Drive Key Customer selection followed by process re-engineering to build efficiencies in the system.
• Set up robust Review mechanisms & analyze data from various MIS to facilitate insights & action planning
• Collaborate with cross functional partners on all aspects of Ecommerce business, including product portfolio, content strategy, promotional campaigns, commercial investments and most importantly full funnel integration
• Drive productivity through improved execution and measure the reach of unexploited e-tailers
• Develop Promotional & Assortment strategy for e-commerce by understanding competitive and business trends.
• Evolve and conceptualize SKU focus. Ensure alignment with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Sales.
• Drive the magic formula parameters of UV, CVR, AOV & loyalty, through focused actions
• Review of sales systems and processes in e-tailer’s distribution and drive standardization & optimization
• Provide thought leadership and advise MU Management Team on Omni-Channel commerce to build a future proof organization
• Lead the omnichannel strategy and growth within KSA
• Drive Effective Teaming & Communication through:
• Providing regular progress updates to all stakeholders & Drive ECom upskilling across the organization
• Ensure Successful Roll-out through:
• Obtain senior management support / buy-in on all key initiatives and resources required for the e-commerce journey.
• Ensure adherence to agreed timelines.
• Ensure learnings from pilots / test & learns
• Achievement of the Sales, Profit & Market Share Targets
Operational updates
• Work hand in hand with top pure players/marketplace/Online/Ecommerce retailers and (in coordination with CCMs) with the ecommerce departments of mainstream brick and mortar retailers who have E-commerce operations
• Ensure fully updated masters with above retailers. Product descriptions, selling stories for new products, images and RSPs to be updated regularly on sites on all e-tailers.
• Work on online loyalty programs of top E-commerce retailers including those with brick-and-mortar operations
• Establish deep and meaningful relationships with the responsible Ecommerce teams of online retailers.
• Agree support Plan for sites of key E-commerce customers for focus categories in line with annual marketing plans with Digital marketing teams to ensure (as an example) that we achieve "first brand seen" status on customer sites
• Align Performance-Precision integration for the full funnel & drive Events / Always On activations accordingly
• Ensure close collaboration between Brand & Commercial teams to ensure new launches hit the market online & offline simultaneously for max impact. Responsible to ensure on time listing of new launches with Ecom retailers.
• Budget management, tracking and handling of any assigned commercial budgets by the line manager and any S&CM budgets agreed with the marketing director.
• Forecasting & Planning Inventory, based on Sell Outs and Days of Inventory held – focusing on eMust Sell List
• In conjunction with the local Senior CCMs, CCMs and SCM Managers conduct regular market visits and research to ensure that the job holder is fully updated on retail market trends
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Education- Bachelor from an accredited university with a focus on Sales, Digital or Brand marketing
Experience-
1. Sales and Marketing experience of 7+ yrs in FMCG.
2. Proven track record of successfully growing E Commerce business for a FMCG Company OR Category management with top Ecom e-tailers
Language: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic & English are mandatory.
