Job Description - Head Of Learning

Start date: Immediate Start

We are currently seeking an inspiring and qualified leader to fill the role of Head of Learning at our schools. The ideal candidate will be a visionary educational leader, capable of enhancing the quality of learning, implementing innovative teaching strategies, and leading the faculty team to achieve the best academic outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities

1.      Head to the office and prepare all matters connected to your readiness to start the school day. 

2.      Review school agenda/ calendar to ensure presence of any meeting or previously scheduled works on that day. 

3.      Ensure readiness of all educational devices/ tools required to start correctly and completely. 

4.      If you have classes, therefore you have to execute job tasks listed in the job description form of the tutors regarding the teaching part. 

5.      Organise regular meetings for your department to follow up works and tasks of the department and recording meeting minutes and sending the same to the school principal. 

6.      Continuous follow up and supervision on the colleague’s under your department performance and students results and provide solutions for weakness and defects in the academic material including students’ remedial plans, scientific richness, etc.

7.      Follow up the weekly plan works of the colleagues under your department on Canvas application and ensure completion of all required elements and information one by one. 

8.      Visit LGs in classes in order to recognize their weaknesses and strengths and therefore develop and improve the same through the semester. 

9.      Evaluate the LGs performance regularly under official forms approved by the academy. 

10.  Put long-term plans for the department and establish possible measuring tools to know objectives achievement level and revise the same continuously with concerned parties. 

11.  Supervise and follow up all school tests with all its types and ensure quality of questions and correct its additions as well as making its grade analysis of each test/ assessment. 

12.  Follow up homework and correction works, and completion of the curriculum as per the timeframe previously set at the start of the semester with the team to ensure zero delays or defects in academic material. 

13.  Prepare weekly reports to follow up department progress and send the same every Thursday to the school principal. 

14.  Continuous search on new and beneficial matters to develop the department performance such as specialized training programs or beneficial electronic applications or educational videos may enrich all concerned parties. 

1.      Ability to use Microsoft Office Programs. 

2.      Ability to use different communication apps (e-mail/ whatsApp).

3.      Ability to use outlook calendar. 

4.      Ability to use iPad and its different applications.

5.      High flexibility and ability to adapt with work variables and emergent matters. 

6.      Assume work pressure, ability to organize time and priorities continuously.

7.      Ability to establish good work relationships with all relevant parties in the work environment. 

8.      Total discipline in time and achieve tasks on time. 

9.      Ability to supervise and lead your teamwork.
