The Audio-Visual (AV) Technician is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and operation of
AV systems. The role includes ensuring high-quality AV experiences across various settings and supporting the
technical team by resolving technical issues efficiently. The position requires a balance of technical expertise,
customer support, and attention to detail
Accountabilities:
• Install and configure AV systems, including projectors, sound systems, video conferencing equipment, and
control systems.
• Ensure equipment functionality through testing and adjustments.
• Diagnose and resolve AV system issues, including hardware, software, and network connections.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and keep a detailed log of repairs and technical issues.
• Provide technical support during events and assist users with AV setups.
• Operate equipment as needed during presentations and meetings to ensure smooth operation.
• Collaborate on AV installations and upgrades.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment sourcing or replacement.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for AV systems and report issues for improved decision-making
