As a Country HCM Business Partner/Advisor, you are responsible for embedding people strategy by providing and execution capabilities for the divisions operating in Saudi Arabia. Working in partnership with business and HR stakeholders, you will consult with and provide advice and recommendations on a full spectrum of Country HR activities including Performance and Reward, Talent and Development programs, Industrial/Employee Relations and any other HR initiatives. Additionally, you are responsible for overseeing in country HR Operations and HR governance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Translate business demand into HR solutions and communicating across business partner area.
  • Ensure an aligned/integrated people strategy that reflects the business needs and is consistent with Deutsche Bank’s Values and Beliefs.
  • Guide through change management initiatives including organisation design/evolution/development, internal relocation & outsourcing, and restructuring etc.
  • Provide HR advisory services to the business and oversee HR Operations and governance (including regulatory matters)
  • Collaborate with the Reward to identify compensation trends within the business and local market, including participation in compensation surveys, year-end compensation process and promotion panel process.
  • Co-ordinate and perform Exit Interviews providing feedback as appropriate (for selected group of employees).•
  • Support Global/Regional/Country HR Initiatives e.g. Diversity & Inclusion.
  • In partnership with Employee Relations provides advice and guidance to the business on Employee Relations issues, ensuring that all actions conform to Deutsche Bank best practice and legislative requirements.
  • Coordinate country’s learning and development initiatives/events.

  • Experience/Exposure:

  • KSA national, due to regulatory requirements
  • University Graduate
  • 8+ years work experience
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both spoken and written. Arabic is the primary language when corresponding with our regulators, as well as all reporting to official bodies from HR.
  • KSA labour law knowledge, and knowledge of Saudi Wage Protection System processes
  • Extensive HR Business Partner experience including knowledge of HR policies, products, processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience of working in a complex, multicultural matrix organisation
  • Ability to operate independently and objectively to achieve the right people outcome for the franchise
  • Preferred banking & finance industry background, with demonstrable business acumen and commercial understanding
  • Comfortable with presenting to management groups, with the ability to produce concise presentations, including necessary research and inquiry capabilities
  • Ability to partner and manage relationships with new and existing HR vendors and structure contractual agreements accordingly
