Job Description - HRIS Specialist

Description

Executes, coordinates, and monitors HRIS activities within approved frameworks, policies, and system procedures to ensure structured and consistent operations.
Coordinates with the Information Technology (IT) department to implement system updates, upgrades, and resolve technical issues in a controlled and timely manner.
Monitors system performance and follows up with IT on incidents and issues to ensure timely resolution.
Manages user access and permissions in line with information security and data governance policies.
Ensures accuracy, integrity, and consistency of HR data through continuous validation and monitoring activities.
Conducts periodic data reviews to identify discrepancies and ensures corrective actions are taken.
Manages data import and export processes between HRIS and other systems in coordination with IT when required.
Prepares regular and ad-hoc HR reports to support HR and management decision-making.
Develops and maintains HR dashboards to monitor key HR metrics and indicators.
Supports HR operational processes such as attendance, leave management, and payroll through the HRIS system.
Participates in system testing (UAT) and validates new features and updates prior to deployment.
Documents HRIS procedures, system updates, and changes to ensure governance, consistency, and knowledge retention.
Train HR users on system functionalities and best practices
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within HR operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system alignment with business needs.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , MIS , Information Systems, Information Technology , Business Administration, or a related field
2-4 years of relevant experience
