Role Summary:
To review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and design programs and procedures to
control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and ergonomic
factors.
Duties and responsibilities:
Conduct site inspection, reporting of the unsafe conditions & acts to the concerned
supervisors & top management.
Reporting Safety Observations through HSE Dashboard (Management System Tool).
Support Project HSE Manager/Sr. Safety Officer in HSE Compliance, implement HSE
Policy and programs.
Supervising HSE for Multiple Subcontractors
Conducting Toolbox talks and Induction Training.
Daily Workplace and Equipment Inspection.
Helping safety manager, Sr. Safety Officer to Preparing of JSA & Risk Assessments.
Regular verification of Work Permits.
Maintaining of HSE checklists & inspection records.
Incident reporting, root cause investigation and team communication.
Implementing project emergency response plan, fire & Safety plan, and rescue plans.
Assisting HSE Manager in conducting internal audits
Area inspection before and after the critical activities.
Maintaining two-way communication with the workers and management.
Issuing, monitoring of working permits and authorizing project activity.
Skills
Personal qualities
The ideal candidate for the Senior/HSE Officer role has the following skills, personal qualities
and experiences:
Minimum HSE experience of 4 - 8 Years in GCC.
Bachelor’s degree, Diploma or equivalent certificate.
Additional Certificate Courses such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA etc. related to Health
& Safety is recommended.
Demonstrates effective communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects,
has strong training and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of applicable government regulations, computer skills.
Exhibits positivity, passion, integrity, and responsibility.
