Hydraulic Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Hydraulic Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and managing water-related projects such as stormwater management systems, flood risk assessments, dams, pipelines, drainage systems, and other hydraulic structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze hydraulic systems, including stormwater, drainage, and flood control systems.

• Conduct hydraulic modeling using software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, or similar tools.

• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and construction specifications.

• Collaborate with civil, environmental, and structural engineers on multidisciplinary projects.

• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases.

• Evaluate environmental impacts and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and permits.

• Support water resource planning and hydraulic studies for infrastructure development.

• Provide technical input in proposal development and cost estimation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Masters preferred with focus in Hydraulics or Water Resources).

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or working toward licensure is preferred.

• 37 years of experience in hydraulic engineering or related field.

• Proficient in hydraulic modeling and CAD tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, etc.).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic simulation software.
