Interior Design - Senior Manager (Sports Assets) (SPA164)

Qiddiya Investment Company is spearheading the creation of a unique entertainment and cultural destination, and we are in search of a Senior Manager for Interior Design specializing in Sports Assets. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing and executing interior designs that enrich the experience of visitors at our sports facilities.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in interior design targeted toward sports environments, demonstrating a skilled ability to balance functionality, safety, and aesthetics. You will work collaboratively with architectural teams and project stakeholders to produce innovative design solutions that align with Qiddiya's vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the interior design process for various sports assets, including arenas, stadiums & training facilities
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and operational teams to create cohesive and dynamic environments that enhance athlete and spectator experiences.
• Prepare and present comprehensive design proposals, including visual presentations, material choices, and color palettes.
• Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring that all design elements are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
• Oversee the selection of furnishings, fixtures, and finishes, ensuring alignment with the project's branding and functional requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections during the construction phase to ensure design intent is upheld and to facilitate any necessary adjustments.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with external consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence within the design team.
• Maintain awareness of current trends in sports facility design and incorporate innovative ideas into projects.
• Ensure all interior designs meet the requisite safety standards and comply with local regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• 10+ years of relevant interior design experience, particularly in sports facilities or similar projects.
• A robust portfolio demonstrating successful interior design projects in sports and public spaces.
• Strong proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
• Proven ability to drive design processes and influence decision-making at all levels.
• Awareness of sustainable design practices and a commitment to implementing them in projects.
