WSP is seeking a highly experienced Interior Designer for an exciting airport project in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the interior design aspects of the project, ensuring the creation of innovative and functional spaces that meet the project requirements and exceed client expectations. With a minimum of 10 years of experience in interior design, particularly within airport projects, the Interior Designer will play a pivotal role in delivering a world-class airport facility in Riyadh.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Lead the interior design team in developing creative and practical design solutions for the airport project in Riyadh.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate interior design concepts seamlessly into the overall project.
• Ensure that interior design elements comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including those specific to airport facilities.
• Oversee the development of detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and materials selections.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the interior design team, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and feedback, and incorporate these into the design process as appropriate.
• Participate in design reviews, presentations, and meetings with clients and project stakeholders, effectively communicating design concepts and solutions.
• Collaborate with external consultants and vendors as needed to support the implementation of interior design elements.
• Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in interior design, particularly as they relate to airport facilities.
• Maintain a high standard of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail throughout the design process, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on large-scale projects, preferably including airport facilities.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards related to interior design, particularly within the context of airport projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
• Experience in mentoring and developing junior design staff is desirable.
• Fluency in English is required, Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
