Internal Medicine Consultant

This advertiser has chosen not to accept applicants from your region.- Conductthorough medical evaluations and assessments of patients, includingreviewing their medical history, performing physical examinations, andordering appropriate diagnostic tests.- Diagnose and treatcomplex medical conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes,respiratory disorders, gastrointestinal issues, and renaldiseases.- Develop personalized treatment plans, includingprescribing medications, recommending lifestyle modifications, andcoordinating further consultations with specialists as necessary.- Provide preventive care services, including vaccinations, healthscreenings, and health promotion education.- Manage and monitorchronic diseases, working closely with patients to optimize theirhealth outcomes and quality of life.- Coordinate care andcollaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as specialists,nurses, and allied health staff, to ensure comprehensive andcoordinated patient care.- Educate patients about theirconditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques to empowerthem in managing their health.- Stay knowledgeable about thelatest advancements in internal medicine, attending conferences,participating in continuous medical education, and reviewing relevantliterature.- Participate in clinical research studies,contribute to academic publications, and present findings atconferences.- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff,including residents and fellows, fostering a positive learning andprofessional environment.- Adhere to ethical and legal standardsin patient care, ensuring confidentiality and informed consent.Job Requirments:- Medical degree (MD orequivalent) from an accredited institution.- Completion ofresidency training in internal medicine.- Board certificationin internal medicine from the relevant medical board.- +5 yearsof experience in specialty- Dataflow is a must-SCFHSlicense is preferable.
