Job Description - Inventory Admin Coordinator - Medina

PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The Inventory Team Leader will conduct all duties of Inventory Coordinator while assisting with training and general direction of the Inventory department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with training/cross-training new and existing employees; assist with conducting monthly training records.
  • Assist with providing feedback to aid performance reviews for inventory team.
  • Direct the daily duties of the inventory team, ensuring coverage for all functions and process completion.
  • Perform all Essential Functions of the Inventory Coordinator Job Profile OH-HR-F-004
  • Partner with Material Owner to initiate blend transactions and associated work orders (transfers, repacks, etc.).
  • Analyze work orders for issues.
  • Communicate with the Material Owner concerning the completion of work orders and any changes that may have occurred.
  • Manage and report on warehouse performance in reference to inventory processes and transactions to management
  • Initiate warehouse/internal corrective action requests.
  • Update End Of Month Reports by Customer (verify all charges are properly documented); tally/sum all results
  • Update customer blend requirements and the nomenclature guide on designated reports.
  • Follow all ISO requirements; this includes but is not limited to being held responsible for completion of ‘CAR’ reports and submitting processing information when problem issues occur with damaged product, lost product or other issues.
  • Ensure all ISO documentation is current and adhered to.
  • Assist quality department with all necessary document revisions.
  • Generate and identify Corrective Action and Preventative Action Requests.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • At least 2 years of applicable experience in a similar role.
  • Two year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with ISO requirements and documentation preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail; able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to round to the nearest whole number.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software; Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
