IT Financial & Assets Analyst

SWATX is looking for an IT Financial & Assets Analyst to play a crucial role in managing our IT financial data and asset inventory. This position will involve financial analysis, budgeting, and cost management related to our IT assets, helping the organization make informed financial decisions surrounding technology investments. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of IT financial management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development and management of IT budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

- Analyze IT expenditure data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost-saving measures.

- Support asset management activities, including procurement, tracking, and lifecycle management of IT assets.

- Prepare financial reports and presentations for stakeholders to inform decision-making.

- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to gather and consolidate financial information.

- Maintain accurate records of all IT assets and their associated costs.

- Identify and implement improvements to financial and asset management processes.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or IT asset management.

- Proficient in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial software).

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus.
