IT Financial & Assets Management Manager

SWATX is seeking an IT Financial & Assets Management Manager to oversee the financial operations and asset management associated with our IT resources. This role involves strategically managing IT budgets, forecasting, and ensuring that our technology assets are utilized efficiently and effectively to meet the organization’s goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT finance, asset management, and strategic planning, enabling them to guide financial decision-making and optimize asset lifecycles for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage the IT financial planning and budgeting process to align with corporate objectives.

- Monitor and analyze IT expenditures, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization.

- Manage IT asset procurement, tracking, and lifecycle management to ensure optimal utilization and compliance.

- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to create comprehensive financial forecasts and reports.

- Conduct vendor cost analysis and negotiations to ensure best value for IT investments.

- Establish and maintain asset management policies, standards, and controls.

- Implement tools and systems for effective tracking and reporting of IT assets and finances.

- Lead training and communication efforts to promote effective IT financial and asset management practices within the organization.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

- 5+ years of experience in IT financial management, with a focus on asset management.

- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting processes, and IT cost structures.

- Experience with asset management software and financial reporting tools.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CPA, or similar) are a plus.
