IT Financial & Assets Specialist

SWATX is actively seeking an IT Financial & Assets Specialist to enhance our ability to manage IT financial operations and optimize asset utilization. This role will involve monitoring and analyzing IT budgets, expenditures, and asset inventory, ensuring that our technology resources align with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and have a strong foundation in IT financial and asset management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the management of IT budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.

- Conduct financial analysis of IT expenditures to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.

- Assist in the tracking and management of IT assets throughout their lifecycle, from procurement to disposal.

- Prepare financial reports and dashboards for stakeholders to visualize IT spending and asset utilization.

- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to streamline asset management processes and systems.

- Help implement and maintain asset management tools/software for efficient tracking and reporting.

- Assist in vendor relationship management, including negotiation and performance evaluation.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, IT financial management, or asset management.

- Strong proficiency in financial analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

- Knowledge of IT asset management principles and tools is a plus.
