A reputable government entity is seeking a talented and motivated IT Infrastructure & Systems Manager to oversee and lead its IT operations and technical team.

This role is ideal for a professional with strong hands-on experience in virtualization, cloud services, and enterprise infrastructure — and who can combine technical excellence with strategic leadership.

CCDS is looking for a highly experienced IT Infrastructure & Systems Manager to lead an infrastructure team in government entity in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure management, with experience overseeing server, storage, and networking environments. You will be responsible for establishing IT strategies, ensuring system reliability, and managing a team of skilled professionals. Your leadership will be crucial in driving innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee strategies to ensure high availability and performance of IT systems
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the infrastructure team
• Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations to enhance infrastructure capabilities
• Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices
• Oversee budgets and resource allocations for IT infrastructure initiatives
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT requirements and provide appropriate solutions
• Lead and manage the IT Systems team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational excellence.
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments.
• Oversee daily IT operations to ensure system reliability, security, and performance.
• Prepare and manage RFPs, BOQs, and technical documentation for infrastructure projects.
• Manage and optimize virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix) and ensure high availability.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft Cloud services.
• Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal departments to deliver IT solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Support and supervise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls, routing).
• Mentor and develop IT team members, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with government IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and best practices.

• Saudi National (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive experience in IT systems and infrastructure management.
• Proven hands-on expertise in VMware, Nutanix, Windows Server, Exchange, and Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and IT security principles.
• Demonstrated experience in writing RFPs, preparing BOQs, and managing technical projects.
• Recognized certifications such as VCP, NCP, MCSE, Azure Administrator, or CCNA/CCNP are an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
