Java Developer with Kafka, Containers, and Kubernetes Experience

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team and help build robust and scalable Java applications. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Java-based software solutions, with a focus on leveraging technologies like Apache Kafka, containers, and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and develop Java-based applications, ensuring they are efficient, maintainable, and meet business requirements

· Implement Kafka consumers and producers, configure Kafka clusters, and integrate Kafka into Java applications

· Containerize Java applications using Docker and deploy them to Kubernetes environments

· Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance

· Write clean, well-documented, and testable code

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues

· Stay up-to-date with the latest Java, Kafka, container, and Kubernetes technologies and best practices

Required Qualifications:

· 4+ years of experience in Java application development

· Strong understanding of Java programming language, design patterns, and best practices

· Proficient in developing and configuring Apache Kafka consumers and producers

· Experience with container technologies, such as Docker, and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes

· Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools for building, testing, and deploying containerized applications

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with OpenShift, a Kubernetes-based container application platform

· Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native application development

· Familiarity with agile software development methodologies

· Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
