We are looking for Engineers or Architect that will support the planning, coordination, installation, operation, and dismantling of all temporary overlay infrastructure required for the successful delivery of the international sporting event in KSA . The role will work closely with venue teams, contractors, consultants, functional areas, and stakeholders to ensure all temporary infrastructure is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with event requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and coordination of temporary overlay infrastructure across competition and non-competition venues.
Coordinate the installation, testing, maintenance, and removal of temporary infrastructure, including:
Temporary structures (tents, cabins, marquees)
Fencing and barriers
Temporary power distribution
Lighting
HVAC systems
Water supply and drainage
ICT and communications infrastructure
Flooring, decking, and access systems
Wayfinding and support infrastructure
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, venue management, local authorities, and functional area leads to ensure seamless delivery.
Monitor project schedules and coordinate daily installation activities to meet critical milestones.
Conduct site inspections to verify quality, safety, and compliance with approved designs and specifications.
Support permit coordination, access management, and contractor logistics.
Track progress, identify risks, and escalate issues with recommended mitigation measures.
Maintain accurate records including drawings, installation reports, snag lists, and completion documentation.
Support testing, commissioning, and venue readiness activities.
Coordinate corrective actions during operational periods to ensure infrastructure remains fully functional.
Assist with post-event dismantling and venue reinstatement activities.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and sustainability requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Event Management, or a related discipline.
3–5 years of experience in infrastructure, construction, temporary overlay, or major event delivery.
Experience supporting international sporting events, or large-scale temporary infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
Understanding of venue operations and event-time infrastructure management.
Knowledge of temporary works, construction safety, and contractor management
