Job Description - Junior Trade Marketing Manager - coty

PURPOSE
Develop & execute 5pstrategy for each brand within the Mass beauty categories in linewith the overall brand vision to achieve top & bottom linetargets. Be the link between Marketing & Sales to drivesynergies across functions & across geographies with bestin class onground executions within available budgets.

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • The role is split in to 2 parts ofthe business;
o Distributor Operations
o Direct to Retail
  • The JTMwill be in charge of both parts of the business for 3 categoriesand his/her primary objective will be to find optimal synergies todrive cost efficiencies and best in class examples for execution bydeveloping a 5p strategy in line with brand & companyvision
MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The major focus will be to engage with multiplestakeholders both internally and externally to develop and maintainoperational and execution standards that support the marketing andcommercial objectives of the business.
The role will beat the center of core functions (Sales Brand Marketing &Demand/Supply planning) to ensure both the brand vision andfinancial KPIs are executed on ground by developing ongroundchannel wise strategies with a sellout mindset.

The keyresponsibilities:
Trade Strategy& Business Acumen: Define 5P strategy &facilitate achievement of financial KPIs
  • Update brands Picture of Success withclear 5P robust strategy > Quarterlyreview
  • Localized trade sell toolkit withretailer mindset for initiatives & base define 5Pstrategy
  • Monitor & track alreadylaunched innovations
  • Be familiar with brandfinancials for key markets
  • Support BM team inS&OP from a trade perspective > including tradeplans P&Ls & ongroundexecution
  • A&CP Budget Owner for F20 forBTL Elements for categories acrossmarkets
  • Understand monthly IMS and work onplans with Sales teams to drive targets
  • Workand monitor perfect store definedprinciples
  • Leverage/identify key account andchannel insights in the development of trade strategy andactivation plans
  • Serve as a support pillar toSenior TM across all trade elements including S&OP processand overall P&L review and management
Operations: Day to day management of all tradeelements execution on ground across ME markets (3 categories& 13 distributors)
  • Ensure100% ontime delivery of all elements under trade responsibility inline with commercial readinesstimelines
  • Monthly connects with distributors todiscuss quarterly plans.
  • Ensure monthly orderforms are updated in line with Regulatory & BM teamupdates
  • Forecasting of base promos &initiatives in line with processrequirements
  • Monitor promo performance andamend forecast in line with strategy &competition
  • Ensure all BTL elements aredelivered to respective markets as part of yearlyplan
  • Understanding market / channel landscapefor each country along with trade calendars (based on datainsights)
  • Trade plans guidance monitoring plusexecution in line with BTL executionstrategy
  • Play a leading role in the developmentand execution of POS strategy in conjunction with brand managersand sales teams and develop POS solutions andtools
  • Develop and execute promotionalactivities including gift with purchase consumer promotions andinstore theatre liaising closely with the Field SalesManager
  • Manage third party suppliers in linewith company objectives and policy
  • Inventorymanagement in line with forecasting > monthly review duringS&OP forum
  • Data analysis will be at thecore of the job ensure all plans are built based on findings tostay competitive in the market
  • Send out monthlyreports that will include a market share snapshot competitoractivity onground executions & upcoming plans along withinnovations
THE COTY IDEAL FIT
  • Fluency in spoken and writtenEnglish
  • Arabic speaking is aplus
  • Must be affluent in MSExcel
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or anyequivalence
  • 3 years of experience working inMarketing/ Trade Marketing or relatedexperience
  • FMCG experience is aplus
  • Nielsen knowledge is aplus
  • Analyticalskills
