Sales Manager – Construction Machinery

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager – Construction Machinery to develop and manage key customers across the construction and infrastructure sectors in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in construction machinery sales, strong knowledge of the Saudi construction and infrastructure market, and a successful track record of developing major contractors, infrastructure projects, and key accounts.

Candidates with experience working with leading construction machinery brands such as XCMG, SANY, Zoomlion, or similar companies will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the construction and infrastructure sectors across Riyadh.
  
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with major contractors, infrastructure companies, and project customers.
  
• Conduct regular customer visits and build relationships with key decision-makers, including owners, procurement managers, project managers, and purchasing teams.
  
• Identify sales opportunities arising from major construction projects, new equipment requirements, equipment purchases, and replacement needs.
  
• Develop new customers while strengthening relationships and increasing sales with existing key accounts.
  
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable construction machinery, equipment, and solutions.
  
• Manage the complete sales cycle from customer development and needs assessment through product recommendation, quotation, negotiation, and order closing.
  
• Follow up closely on major projects and equipment procurement or replacement requirements.
  
• Prepare regular sales forecasts, customer visit reports, pipeline updates, and market intelligence reports.
  
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, product pricing, and market developments.
  
• Provide market feedback to support product positioning and sales strategy.
  
• Achieve assigned sales revenue, customer acquisition, and key account development targets.
  
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on prospective opportunities.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in construction machinery, heavy equipment, or a related industry.
  
• Proven experience dealing with customers and projects within the construction and infrastructure sectors.
  
• Experience with leading construction machinery brands such as XCMG, SANY, Zoomlion, or similar companies is highly preferred.
  
• Demonstrated sales success with the ability to provide examples of major project or key account sales achievements.
  
• Strong new business development and key account management skills.
  
• Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  
• Good understanding of the Saudi construction and infrastructure market.
  
• Existing relationships or customer networks within the Saudi market will be an advantage.
  
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage the complete sales cycle.
  
• Fluent in English; Arabic communication skills are preferred.
  
• Valid Saudi driving license.
  
• Willingness to travel frequently for customer visits and business development activities.
