Lab Sample Receptionist

• Ensure proper receipt of the sample, verify the details, and acknowledge to the clients.
• Ensure proper login of the sample in lab LIMS with required test parameters.
• Handling the sample, receiving data from the logbook and relevant documents.
• Ensure the samples are properly safe guarded until the sample is submitted to the laboratory
• Generate GHS labels for the samples logged
• Ensure good housekeeping in the Lab reception area
• Worksheet management
• Samples logistic management

• Diploma's in Science, Laboratory Technology, or related field
• Proficiency in laboratory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent record-keeping and data entry abilities
• Knowledge of laboratory safety regulations and protocols
• Experience in inventory management and supply chain processes
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Lab safety certification (preferred)
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus

• Good verbal and written English communication skills are essential.
