Lab Specialist (Tamheer Program) Riyadh

JOB SUMMARY:

Al Borg Diagnostics is excited to announce an opportunity for motivated individuals to join our team as Lab Specialists under the Tamheer Program in Riyadh. This role will provide valuable hands-on experience within the laboratory environment, supporting the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services.

As a Lab Specialist, you will assist in conducting various laboratory tests and analyses, contributing to our mission of enhancing healthcare outcomes through precise and timely laboratory services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct laboratory tests and analyses as guided by supervising laboratory staff.
• Assist in specimen handling, processing, and preparation for testing.
• Support the maintenance of laboratory equipment, including cleaning and calibrating instruments.
• Adhere to safety and quality protocols in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Document laboratory procedures and results accurately, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
• Participate in quality control and assurance activities as directed.
• Collaborate with other laboratory staff to maintain a smooth workflow and efficient processes.
• Assist in the educational and training activities of fellow team members.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervisors to enhance laboratory operations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Fresh graduates or candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
• Strong interest in laboratory practices and diagnostic procedures.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques is a plus, though not mandatory.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
• A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• SCFHS certification is required for eligibility in this program.

Experience:

• Previous internship or practical experience in a laboratory environment is preferred but not required.
