About the Role






Are you an experienced aviation logistics leader who thrives in high‑pressure, time‑critical environments?

 

In this role, you will lead the AOG Desk, overseeing spare‑parts recovery activities to return aircraft to service as quickly and safely as possible. You will manage end‑to‑end AOG coordination, including parts sourcing, logistics execution, supplier escalation, and real‑time stakeholder communication during operational disruptions.

 

You will be accountable for prioritizing multiple concurrent AOG events, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring compliance with approved sourcing channels, policies, and procedures.

 

This pivotal role requires close coordination with engineering, maintenance, procurement, logistics providers, and suppliers to deliver rapid and reliable recovery outcomes.

 

Importantly, you will define and monitor AOG performance metrics, conduct post‑event reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce repeat events, shorten recovery times, and strengthen overall spare‑parts readiness. You will also contribute to AOG budgeting and forecasting in line with fleet growth and operational demand.

 

This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational resilience, schedule integrity, and aircraft availability in a fast‑paced airline environment.









About You






Degree qualified, you will demonstrate a minimum of 7 years experience, leading airline spares, AOG, or logistics teams, with demonstrated exposure to operational control or airline operations environments. 

 

You are expected to bring strong hands‑on experience managing AOG spare‑parts recovery, supplier escalation, and logistics execution under time‑critical conditions. Strong knowledge of inventory control, materials planning, logistics systems, and compliance‑driven processes is required.
